From my box Good morning ma’am. Please help me post this anonymously. I have been here for a long time, reading people’s stories silently. I never thought I would be the one writing. But i am here. This story is about my elder brother.My brother has never been lucky with women. He is kind, generous, responsible, but love has never been fair to him. When his friend introduced him to this woman, we were all relieved. We thought finally, God had remembered him.They dated. They got married. We were hopeful.But from the very beginning of the marriage, something was off. She never really loved him the way a wife should love her husband. Intimac!!! Y was always a struggle. My brother would complain that his own wife treated him like a stranger in his own house. Still, he endured. He kept believing things would change.they had no child due to numerous miscarriages . She would say she was pregnant, then come back with stories of miscarriage. Four times. Every time my mom suggested to offer help she rejected them. She showed no concern, no fear of losing the marriage. She was nonchalantt about everything . He is my senior brother . The most generous . Financially, my brother gave everything. Joint account, she withdrew freely. One day she drove one of his cars and claimed she parked it in the market and it got missing. My brother wanted to track it, report it, fight for it. She discouraged him. Told him to let it go since he had “other things. That he will loose money further tracking it. Just like that He let it go. That is the kind of man he is.What hurtt him the most was that the person he ran to for advice, the person he cried to about his marriage, the friend who introduced his wife to him… was the same man sleeping with his wife. His childhood friend.A man he helped financially again and again. A man he gave millions to when he was struggling. A man he even gave a car to so he could stand on his feet. That man was sharing his bedd. The truth came out when my brother bought his wife a new phone. That was when everything came to light. She confessed. The friend confessed. The missing car was not missing. It was taken by them. Everything was planned. Everything was deliberate. Today, my brother opened his mouth and said he will never trust again. People are now begging him to forgive. To let it go. To move on. But they didn’t see him loving a woman who never loved him back. They didn’t see him defending her when people warned him. They didn’t see him being loyal to a friend who was betraying him daily. I am writing this because watching my brother go through this pain is breaking me too. Please pray for him. He did not go to school, he sacrificed everything for us. But he is rich and can speak well, he is not lucky with womenn. 😭
